Tri Delta 2013-2014

This was quite a year for the Delta Kappa Chapter at Drury University. We started the year off strong getting our new members who after a few weeks felt like they have always been there.

We then kicked the year off with a wonderful philanthropy event, Write to Fight. We invite the everyone at Drury to come and write letters to everyone they know to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Later in the year a group of girls made a trip up to St. Jude and toured the hospital. This was one of the most special moments when we were able to witness all of what our hard work goes to.

Each year Drury Tridelta has been averaging about $20,000 raised for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This year, we hosted "Triple Play Week." We hosted four philanthropy events: a softball tournament, Qdoba night, Pineapple Whip came to campus, and DHOP (Delta's House of Pancakes). The week was an absolute blast and we had such great support from our community and from Drury.

It is truly hard to explain the friendship these girls have. These girls are incredibly kind hearted, silly, loud, and have so much love for one another. If one of the girls has an important presentation or performance or game you bet there will be Tridelta's there to cheer them on.

One thing we pride ourselves in is our involvement on the Drury campus. We have multiple girls in SGA, Enactus, softball, golf, The Mirror staff, track, Theater, Ad Team, RA's, and so much more. We are so proud of each other's accomplishments and always push each other to do more.

2013-2014 was such a wonderful year with many new memories made. We had many seniors graduate and it was incredibly bitter sweet to see them go. We are proud of all they have done and what they will do but we will miss them so much. We are incredibly excited to see what the new school year will bring.
